At EverCheck, we often find ourselves consumed by one simple question:
How can we do better?

This question has driven some of our most ambitious initiatives, propelling EverCheck from a company that simply performs license verifications to one that offers one of the most robust and integrative solutions in the marketplace.

As a company with a national footprint, we understand that the notion of striving for better doesn’t end with our product. We must also be a positive force for those who work with us and for us, champions for the communities who so graciously host us and excellent stewards of the environment.

This is why EverCheck has committed to an unwavering promise of sustainability over the years. In 2016, we took the final step in securing Renewable Energy Certificates and Carbon Offsets to make our footprint essentially 100% offset.

By purchasing roughly 386,000 kWh of renewable energy, we have had an environmental impact similar to:

  • Growing 7,030 trees per year for 10 years
  • Taking 57 cars off the road for 1 year
  • Not using 628 barrels of oil

Of course, the question remains. How can we do better?

In 2017, we are taking our environmental initiatives one step further.

In honor of Earth Day, we are working alongside The Nature Conservancy in their efforts to Plant a Billion trees to help restore rainforests and natural ecosystems around the world. We are planting a tree in honor of every one of our clients. Together with our parent company, CE Broker, we anticipate planting more than 3,000 trees this year.

In addition to working alongside a global leader like The Nature Conservancy, we also plan to work locally with the St. Johns Riverkeeper, a Jacksonville-based organization that acts as an independent voice to advocate for the protection and restoration of the St. Johns River. By providing in-kind donations of our time, we are able to help promote their cause and keep the St. Johns River a hospitable, clean, and beautiful resource for all to enjoy.

These initiatives are only a sample of the greater promise we have to keep doing better - better by you, better for our team, and better for our planet. Visit our Sustainability page for an in-depth look at the ways we are committing ourselves to that promise.
